Our overall view is therefore positive, but not blindly positive. Bitdefender is not automatically the right product for everybody. However, 200 MB is not enough for most people who want to use a VPN continuously. Streaming, large downloads and regular browsing can consume that allowance quickly. According to Bitdefender's own community answers, the standard VPN also connects you to an automatically chosen server rather than letting you pick a location, while Premium VPN removes the daily cap and lets you choose from the available servers.

Bitdefender SecurePass

There is an important 2026 change here. Bitdefender Password Manager reached end of life on June 15, 2026 and was replaced by Bitdefender SecurePass.

This means older reviews that still describe Bitdefender Password Manager as the current product are now outdated. Bitdefender's support page says customers with an active Password Manager subscription get SecurePass at no extra cost, with the same expiration date, and describes exporting your data from the old product and importing it into SecurePass.
